Eugene Lindner

Eugene R. Lindner, 87, of Centennial, CO passed away on June 29th, 2015. Funeral Mass will be held on July 7th, 2015 at 11:30am at St Thomas More Catholic Church, Englewood, CO. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Kranzburg, SD at a future date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Denver Hospice 501 S. Cherry St, #700 | Denver, Co 80246. Condolences may be sent to Jeff Lindner 3917 E. Wynwood Circle | Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 Gene was born in Kranzburg, SD and was schooled in Watertown, SD. He joined the U.S. Navy during WWII where he was selected for IBM training. He is a WWII veteran. He designed and installed IBM systems for the insurance industry over the next forty years. His occupation required moving to several different cities over the years including: Milbank SD, Watertown SD, Denver CO, Salt Lake City UT, Dayton OH, Austin TX, and Memphis TN. He married Sue McBath of Watertown, SD in 1951 and they were together for 64 years. Gene retired in 1987 as Senior Vice President, Western Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Denver, CO. Gene is survived by four children; Diana Hall of Centennial CO, Jill (Mrs. Bryan) Cross of Golden CO, Jeffrey Lindner of Highlands Ranch CO, Chelsea Lindner of Belvidere VT, and six grandchildren.
