Caring for Our Community: The Impact of Suicide (For Professionals)

October 19, 2018 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Did you know that Colorado now ranks as one of the top 10 states in the country for death by suicide? On average, one person dies by suicide every 8 hours in Colorado.
This growing trend has compelled us to host a gathering dedicated to this topic. How do we best care for our community and each other?

Please join us as we engage in a panel-led discussion about the common warning signs, community resources available, suicide prevention and postvention techniques.

With our combined efforts we can bring a new level of understanding, preparedness and caring support to our community.

The Impact of Suicide

Who should attend? Professional caregivers in our community including clergy, hospital and hospice personnel, victim advocates, school counselors, therapists, funeral service personnel and others working with grieving people.
