Questions to Ask if You Are Calling Other Providers
- Do you own your crematory? Where does the cremation take place? Horan & McConaty operates onsite crematories. Many other providers subcontract this important service to low bidders who do not meet the same high standards. Keep in mind, Colorado is the only state without inspections and almost no regulations of funeral homes or crematoriums. We encourage you to become informed and choose wisely.
- Does their own staff come to the place of death? At Horan & McConaty, we come to the place of death and your loved one never leaves our care. Many providers hire outside transport services and individuals with backgrounds which are unknown to them.
- Is your staff certified? As members of the Cremation Association of North America, our staff receives advanced certification to perform cremations. We strictly adhere to a voluntary Cremation Code of Ethics, an assurance to you of our commitment to dignity and honesty.
- Who owns the company? Horan & McConaty is a family company committed to the people we serve now and for generations to come. The Denver metro area has many large chains and large companies owned by stockholders and investors. We are determined to earn your trust and confidence because we know the most valuable thing we own is our reputation.
One of our directors can explain all of your options and review pricing. Please call 303.745.4418 or toll free at 800.471.4418.
