Memories Timeline

  1. Smiling as I reflect on Don’s many accomplishments . His love for Joan and Katya was amazing to witness . His kindness to everyone brought out the best in all. We will miss him so and remember him always . Much Love , Evelyn

  2. My memories of Don make me happy that I got to have him as a friend, and sad that I’ll not get to see him smile or crack a dry, sneaky joke into a conversation, again. His love for Joan and Katya (and Koda, too) was so strong, and unbending. His presence at the swim meets was formidable, but his nature, once you got to know him, was so gentle and caring. He will be dearly missed. Sending our sympathy, and wishes for comfort to Joan and Katya (and Koda, too). Love from Viv, Joe, Lucas, Grace and Sofia

  3. Joan and Katya,
I am so sorry for your loss of Dan. It’s so hard to believe. Don was such a presence at Dolphins swim meets. His love for his little family and pride in Katya was sweet to witness. He will be missed

  4. Dear Joan,
Never having met Don, I know that he was a good man. Your voice and the way your face lit up when you spoke of him is all I need to know. You loved him dearly and respected him mightily. My heart is sad for this loss yet joyful for the wonderful relationship you shared. The memorial video is lovely. Thank you for sharing. Truly, Karen
