  1. I enjoyed being with Doris. She was always smiling and gracious. We had fun together in Cancun. She will be missed. Sending love to Mike…

  2. We are so sorry that Doris lost the battle in her fight for Life. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to all her family.

  3. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed the short time we spent together watching the eclipse in Glendo, Wyoming. I wish the family strength during this time of sorrow and hope that her memory lives on with wonderful memories.

  4. Doris, your smile and great personality will be missed here at Mercy Housing. You were a cherished member of our team and we will miss you.

  5. Doris was a beautiful person and always made the Denver office brighter place to work. I worked closely with her on the original roll out of Yardi her baby. I will miss her terribly she always was there to assist me any time I called her for help with Yardi and we always had time for a chat. Maureen McAleenan. Mercy Housing San Francisco CA

  6. Doris
I got to know you over the past 6 years at Mercy. We will miss your smile and amazing attitude. You will always be in our hearts.

  7. Dear Delaneys,
Your family has always shown us so much love and Dee and Dor were so important to Melissa and Stacy. Dor and her sweet smile are gone too soon but she left us all with the happiest memories! And great sadness. She’s running with Taffy now!
    All our Love,
    The Doug Meurer Family

  8. Doris was so special to me. She used to take me on her paper route in Heritage West and I just adored her – she was so kind and patient. I think all of us are better just having known Doris. I love all of you Delaneys and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Melissa Meurer

  9. Doris,
You were the kindest, warmest person I have every met. Your laughter in the morning was always contagious, you were a beautiful soul. I will miss you!

  10. Dear Doris,

You were such a lovely person. Your kindness, laughter and smile always brightened my day whenever we ran into each other at work. You were always willing to answer questions, and were such a steady, insightful presence when we worked together on various projects over the years. I appreciated your patience…. and your wry sense of humor! I will truly miss you.

  11. Sincere condolences to the Delaney family and Mike (and Sammie). The time I spent with Doris was brief but what I know through Mike, Doris was patient, kind and a loving person and that she will be deeply missed by many.

  12. Sincerest condolences to Mike and all of the Delaney Family. I worked with Doris for quite a while at Mercy Housing. Doris was patient and a wonderful person to work with. Doris also had an incredible sense of humor and her and I shared many “cheesy” jokes while working together! Doris will be greatly missed and her family has my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

  13. I am so grateful for getting to know Doris from day 1 of my joining Mercy Housing and thankful for the time I spent with her. The tragedy of her passing is dwarfed by the joy of knowing her. Her family and friends know that Doris is the kind of person we carry in our hearts long beyond her passing. Her smile and laugh will always be the first memory I will carry with me going forward – what a great legacy for someone. Her kindness, joy for life, and willingness to pause and join me at the window for a sunrise are the memories and lessons she gifted me with.

Peace and healing to Mike and family and to all who are sharing in this loss.

  14. I am heartbroken. So sorry to know that you are gone, Doris! We’ll miss you and you’ll always be in our memories.

  15. Doris, Like many others I had the opportunity to work with you at Mercy for the past 7 years. I always appreciated your knowledge and insight when working on projects. You were a huge asset to Mercy and to all that knew you. I pray you are at peace and your loved are comforted during this very difficult time.
