  1. We are so sorry that we cannot be here for Jim’s celebration of live. He has been a wonderful friend for almost 44 years and we will miss him dearly.
Our hearts go out to Laura and Julie and their families. He was a wonderful dad and grandfather and a friend to many people over the years. We feel very blessed to have been included in his circle of friends.

  2. With sincere condolences upon the passing away of James E. Daume. He leaves us with happy memories of his life and we so appreciate the opportunity to be part of his family and life. Jim will live on in our memories with love.

  3. Jim was a special friend, as was Jane. I graduated with Jim in 1952 and have such fond memories of him as a school chum. He was always so fun and pleasant…….and a true gentleman. My heart goes out to Julie and Laurie and their families. I thank you both for coming to our last class reunion. I think Jim enjoyed seeing his classmates as much as we all enjoyed seeing him and meeting both of you. God be with you and yours always.

We recently became acquainted with Jim and instantly found him to be great friend. He was a gentleman, a man of good humor, caring and considerate. His kindness toward us will forever remain in our memories. We are sorry we did not have more time to spend with him. Our prayers are with Julie, Laura, and his entire family. We will all miss him a great deal.

  5. I worked for him in the early 80’s in billings, Mt, what a wonderful person. Very kind and fun to be around. So sorry for the family’s loss.

  6. Susan joins me in expressing our condolences on Jim’s passing. I had many a pleasant trip over the railroad with my friend Jim. He always had a good word to say about his fellow railroaders and of the many projects that he directed. I must comment also about your Mom. We always had fun together as we looked forward to seeing Jane if it was just a friendly doings or a meeting or convention. You are blessed with wonderful parents.
Susan and Bill Ferryman. God bless you and your family!

  7. Of the best people I know, you and Jane are way up there. Thanks for all the good times, your friendship, and your support. We miss you. Kaia and Trine

  8. So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I don’t ever remember Jim without a smile on his face. Many wonderful memories between our families with Jim & Jane. My thoughts go out to Laura and Julie.
