Jeffrey Richard Tigges, 56, of Parker, Colorado passed away on September 3, 2019. Jeffrey was born to Richard and Judy (Connolly) Tigges in Dubuque, Iowa on March 4, 1963. He attended and graduated from Wahlert High School and Loras College, both in Dubuque, Iowa. Later Jeffrey would become the Chief Technology Officer and founder of Audit Technology Solutions, LLC.

After college Jeffrey met and married Cheryl Wolbaum and together they had a daughter, Jessie Tigges. In his life, Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, 4-wheeling in Jeeps, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Jeffrey will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband and father, an exceptional brother, friend, and mentor, and someone always willing to give back.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Wolbaum) Tigges; daughter, Jessie Tigges; sisters, Janice Christianson (Dan), and Jolene Dolan (Jimmy); and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial Mass will be held in Jeffrey’s honor on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado.

  1. Cheryl and Jessie—we are both shocked and very sad to hear of Jeff’s passing. We wish things were different. Hoping he is at peace both with his parents and the Lord. Praying for him, both of you, and extended family and friends that we can try to understand and accept what Jeff must have felt he needed to do. It’s so very hard. Hugs and sympathy! We’re so sorry.

  3. Cheryl and Jessie, it’s so hard to put into words how sorry, shocked and saddened we are, we just heard this morning. Please know that you both will be in our prayers, along with all the family as well. Jeff was an amazing human being that never failed to light up a room no matter what was going on. We’ve missed you guys a lot these last years and now wish like heck we would have made one of those snowboarding trips happen (Or even just a visit up to Parker to hang out like the good ol cabin days)…our hearts go out to you all.
