Michael L. Quintana of Thornton, Colorado passed away March 9, 2019.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Sherri; children, Michael Quintana, Jr., Javier Quintana, Rene Quintana, Raul Quintana, Phillip Quintana, Yvette Quintana, Cody Paz, Cory Paz and Stephan Paz; and grandchildren, Santiago Guerro, Eric Quintana, Alyssa Quintana, Mariah Quintana, Gabriel Paz, James Quintana and Vivianna Quintana.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 6-7pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 22, 2019, 9:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church,ย 7595 North Federal Boulevard, Westminster. Interment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The family invites you to join them for a reception immediately following services at PPA Event Center, 2105 Decatur Street, Denver, CO 80211.

  20. I worked with Mike at Centennial Airport. He was a very kind, good man. He provided support to our facility and he was always so pleasant and helpful. He didn’t have a mean bone in his body!   35. So saddened to have received the news about Michael. We graduated from Mapleton, The Class of 1970. We lost touch over the last few years and I often wondered how he was and what life he lived. How wonderful he had a good life with his wife and children and extended family. He was blessed. Condolences to all the family.

  38. It is 1 April…we just got word of Mike’s passing. I knew Mike since the days of Western Hills Elementary. My husband worked with him at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and Centennial Airport. We have no words…such a wonderful man. Our prayers are with his family…just so hard to understand…Love you buddy.

  39. I’m also one of Mike’s classmates from Mapleton, and I always enjoyed visiting with him again at our reunions over the years, and at some more recent schoolmate get-togethers at Mickeys. He was a good friend during our school years, and I will miss being able to visit with him again in the future. It was my privilege to have known him.
    My condolences to to Sherri and to the rest of your family, and I am sorry I did not find out about Mike’s passing in time to attend his funeral Mass and tell you this in person.
