November 8, 1969 ~ May 9, 2019

Born in: Denver, CO
Resided in: Highlands Ranch , CO

Born on November 8, 1969, Trent Laine Heckmaster, of Denver Colorado, was beloved by many.  He passed away on May 9, 2019.  He was the youngest of four children to Charles “Chuck/Charlie” and Carol; brother to Troy (Tina), Terry (Theresa) and Toni (Sean); Uncle to Jackie, Aaron, Cydney, Taylor, Andria, Bryan, Tom, and Raegan.  His dogs were his family.  Maya, Lucy and Bruno were well-loved, walked often and always by his side.  Considered the “Favorite Uncle” and referred to as “Uncle T”, he built his life around those he loved, joining in on their worlds and placing pictures and memorabilia throughout his house to keep these memories close by.

Trent loved the outdoors:  golfing, hiking, fishing, skiing, time at the family cabin and climbing the Colorado 14er’s.  Following college from the University of Arizona and Colorado State University, he carried his passion of the outdoors into his profession by working at the Links Golf Course, teaching golf lessons. He later continued a family tradition working for Kiewit Infrastructure as a Business Manager on various projects in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.

At home, Trent enjoyed being in the kitchen, trying out new recipes, and having a passion for food.  An avid sports fan, there wasn’t a sport he didn’t love watching, but his loyalty was with the Denver Broncos and DU lacrosse.   Being with him at a home Bronco game was always a good and memorable time.

Trent’s fun-loving, humorous and entertaining spirit made an everlasting impact and will be carried on forever. Wishing him peace and comfort as he is joined in Heaven with his Dad.

In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Trent and his love for dogs by donating to the Denver Dumb Friends League
