Allison Henline Jones, of Littleton, Colorado, beloved wife, mother, and Grammy, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022, five days before her 60th birthday, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Allison was born on Tuesday, October 2, 1962 in Moscow, Idaho to Clarence Lee and Helen Jarvis Henline. She is the oldest of 3 children.
Allison grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Midland, Texas where she attended high school. Allison and her husband, Roy, were married and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 3, 1980.
Allison was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed spending her time with family and dear friends. She served in many church positions over the years, including primary teacher, young women advisor and presidency member, a girls camp leader, relief society compassionate service coordinator, and activity day leader. Allison spent the majority of her time working with the young children and youth in her church service, which brought her so much happiness. She made service her mission on earth and was always looking for ways to help others.
Allison is survived by her loving family: husband, Roy Hollis Jones; daughter, Amy Jones Adams; sons, Nathan Ryan Jones (Charlie), Tyler Hollis Jones (MacKenzie), and Scott Clarence Graham Jones (Kaylee); 19 grandchildren: Kiesin Adams, Sean Adams, Kadin Adams, Logan Adams, Joseph Adams, Cooper Jones, Berkley Jones, Chloe Jones, Eden Jones, Stetson Jones, Reagan Jones, Russell Adams, Sawyer Jones, Ivy Jones, Jacen Adams, Carter Jones, Landry Jones, Jocelyn Jones, Penny Jones, and a 20th on the way; father, Clarence Lee Henline; sister, Amy Henline Ivy (Dexter); brother, Eric Lee Henline (Ruby). She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Henline.
Of the many blessings in Allison’s life, the ones that brought her the greatest joy and filled her heart with the deepest gratitude were her knowledge of her Heavenly Father, her sweet and tender relationship with her Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her faith and testimony of the gospel, and her family. Her dear husband who she created a life, home, and legacy with, her children who she nurtured and adored their entire lives, and her grandchildren whose time with was always special and cherished are among those greatest blessings.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 So. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227
The Funeral service for Allison will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6705 South Webster Street, Littleton, CO 80128. An additional visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday, from 9:30-10:30am.
