Ayrton Dable

Ayrton Jamaal “AJ” Dable, age 19, died on September 27, 2020. He was a victim of gun violence in a Denver Park.

Born September 6, 2001 in Englewood, CO, he lived in the Denver metropolitan area and graduated from the Contemporary Learning Academy High School in May of 2020.

AJ was a very bright young man with a passion for rap music, Krav maga, horror movies, anime, and of course video games. He loved all animals, particularly his dogs throughout the years: Rocky, Neo, Jet, Lady, Sasha and Red. AJ had a pensive, loving soul and liked to make people laugh.

Survivors include his mother, Tonya Dable, father, Keke Dable, and stepmother, Darla Duval, all of Denver, CO. Sisters: Navalyn Waggoner [Dallas, TX], Princess Starr Lawrence [Denver, CO] and Heaven Dable [Denver, CO]. Grandparents: David Lawrence [Antioch, TN], Bettie Kennerly [Fayetteville, GA] and Beverley Duval [Ada, MN]. Godmother, Lorie Pauley and her husband Jimmy Gardner and Godfather Eric Achi. Uncles and Aunts: Bruce Lawrence [Fayetteville, GA], Loleta Johnson [Dallas, TX], Ottavia and Pastor Donald Smith [Tullahoma, TN], Sherri Lawrence [Fayetteville, GA], Franck Rabe [Paris, France], DeLane and Shannon Duval [Castle Rock, CO], Deborah and Randy Wagner [Stillwater, MN] and Dawn and Mike Ganje [Ada, MN]. Girlfriend, Daisy DeLuna. As well as extensive family in Tennessee, Georgia, Cote d’Ivoire and France.

AJ was preceded in death by Grandparents Marthe Dable and Lowell Duval.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Horan-McConaty; 11150 East Darmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the animal rescue or animal non-profit of your choice.

Due to COVID-19, the visitation and funeral service are limited in attendance to no more than 50 people at a time. All attendees will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
