Betty was born in Denver, CO to Grace & William (Bill) Reagan. She graduated from Milwaukie High School in Oregon in 1945. On October 22, 1954, she married William (Bill) Perkins in St. Mary's Church in Littleton, Colorado.

In the mid 80’s she and Bill moved from Lakewood, CO to Baltimore, MD and made the best of their time there enjoying trips to Annapolis, various historical places, the Smithsonian, and the Baltimore Aquarium. She enjoyed the multiple visits from family and friends and was an enthusiastic tour guide. In addition, Betty and Bill adventurously snacked on the local oysters, crab cakes and seafood. Though Bill loved them all, Betty would often leave the room when oysters were being consumed.

After they returned to Lakewood, Betty and Bill spent many years traveling to Tucson, Arizona to watch the Rockies during spring training and relished their time roaming around the west camping in their travel trailer. She was a member of the Englewood Elks and volunteered many hours there where she enjoyed helping to decorate for the holidays and serving dinners. As part of the Ladies Elks, she embroidered many squares to be added to quilts and knitted hats that were donated to children’s charities. She was also an avid Bronco fan and her sighs and adulations during the game were often heard by all.

Most of all, Betty loved spending time with her family, friends, children, and grandchild. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Kuehn and Diana (Bill) Popish; one son Don (Jill) Perkins; one grandchild, Hope Perkins; one brother Matt Reagan, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her son Dean Kenneth, her husband Bill, her parents Grace and William, and her grandparents.

Betty had a wonderful and long life and her 59 years spent with Bill were filled with joy, love, and happiness. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. In addition, she had a kind heart and was always there when you needed her.  Betty’s generosity, laughter, humor, and presence will be greatly missed.
