Brandon Robert Pratt, 32, passed away suddenly on August 24, 2020.
Brandon was born at George Air Force Base, CA on September 27, 1987. His family moved to Colorado in December 1988 and he called this home ever since. He graduated from Eaglecrest High School, and later graduated from University of Northern Colorado, earning a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
Brandon was a funny, caring, loyal, and special soul who enjoyed the company of countless friends and loved ones throughout his life. He loved just hanging out with friends and family and enjoying the everyday simple things life had to offer. He was an avid sports fan, steadfastly dedicated to his local teams (Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche) and passionate follower of the UFC. He loved the beaches of California, fishing in his kayak, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.
Brandon was a wonderful gift to us and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him. The memories we have shared will last forever in our hearts. Until we meet again, Brandon.
He is survived by his parents Jeffrey Pratt and Cyndi Stearns, step-mom Rosemarie Russell, siblings Lavon Scheitler and Bailey McCormick, nephews Carter and Lincoln Scheitler, brother-in-law Clint Scheitler, paternal grandparents Larry and Margi Pratt, Aunt Tami Pratt, Uncle Greg Pratt… and many other cousins, extended family, and countless special friends. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John and Mary Chavez.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service for immediate family will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brandon can be sent to MaxFund (https://maxfund.org/) or Denver Health Foundation (https://www.denverhealthfoundation.org/).
