Carol Hudson

March 6, 1930 — August 16, 2021

Littleton, Colorado

Carol Joanne (Lloyd) Hudson, age 91, departed in peace to be with her Lord on August 16, 2021.

Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend. She was a dedicated teacher and loved her work. Her students loved their "Mrs. Hudson". She was named Teacher of the Year in 1984 for the city of Denver.

Carol is reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, Henry and her dearly loved son, Scott.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie and Vickie; her grandchildren, Matthew and Marcus; and her new great-grandson, Matthew Jr., who she was so proud to hold before her passing.

God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be.

So He put his arms around her,

And whispered, "Come with me".

A golden heart stopped beating, she is now at peaceful rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

A Committal Service will be held for Carol on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery. For those who would like to attend, please be at Fort Logan, at Staging Area A no later than 1:45pm.
