Carolyn Kennedy

Carolyn Collins Kennedy passed away on October 24, 2022. She was born in Houston TX to Melvin Collins & Perlie Collins (Rush). Mother to Derrick Collins & Terrance Kennedy. grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren & counting.

Carloyn was affectionately known as simply “Ma” to many. She would take in anyone who was in need of love or guidance and raise them as her own. Ma was known for her genuine selflessness and would give her last to anyone in need. In her later years Ma would travel around state to state in order to visit her various grandchildren and family. Ma had a multifaceted career to include; 911 Operator, Bartender, Catering, Real Estate Agent and would take a job just to give someone a helping hand. However, her favorite job was to watch the little ones.

A visitation will be held on from 1-4pm on Tuesday November 1, 2022. A Funeral Service will follow at 4pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St. Thornton CO 80229.
