Charlotte Smith

Charlotte Faye Smith of Lakewood, Colorado passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020 at the age of 93.  She was born to Walter Alfred Sparks and Leona Pearl Lyons Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 21, 1927.  Faye married Leland Alma Smith in January of 1947.  Together they raised 4 sons and were grandparents to 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Lee preceded Faye in death on September 25, 2007.

When younger, she and Lee enjoyed fishing, camping and skiing in Utah, Colorado and throughout the west. Later in life, Faye enjoyed getting together with friends for bowling or cards.  She was an avid reader. Faye loved visiting with her family and particularly enjoyed seeing and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her 3 sons, Scott (Susy) Smith of Fort Collins, Colorado, Terry Smith of Sunnyvale, California, Mitch (Tana) Smith of Littleton, Colorado, her sister Renee Weight of Salt Lake City, Utah and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a service for the family at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
