Daniel Rojo

Daniel Rojo, 79, of Denver, Colorado, passed March 2, 2017. He was born in Lamar, Colorado, on August 17, 1937. Daniel was a wonderful husband, of 58 years, to his wife Maria Lucila (Ubelez) Rojo, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Fernando & Florinda Rojo; brothers, Ralph & Marcelo; and sisters, Dora & Vivian. He is survived by his four children, Mitchell Ray Rojo, Joyce Rojo Amos, Daniel Keith Rojo, Aileen Rojo Scardello; grandchildren, Mitchell Ray Rojo, Jr. and Paul Lewis Waters; great grandchildren, Noah Abraham Waters and Olivia Lucille Rojo; and siblings, Ernest (Kathy) Rojo, Robert (Sandy) Rojo, Rosalie (Bill) Lucero, Rosemarie (Rudy) Sandoval, Linda Martinez, and Joanne (David) Rojo-Cordova. Funeral Services honoring Daniel will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada, Colorado 80003. Reception immediately following at Ari's Tavern, 5686 North Pecos, Denver, Colorado 80229. Committal Services on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery - Area ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
