Debra Henninger

Debra Ann (Drury) Henninger of Commece City passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at the age of 67 loosing her battle to cancer.

Debra was born in Walsenburg, CO on October 30, 1953 to Howard Drury and Ann Mae Dawson. She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Mae Dawson, step father Cecil Dawson, step mother Barbara Drury, and father in law Robert Henninger Sr. She married Robert Lee Henninger, Jr on July 23, 1974. They raised four children: Darla Haught, Athena (Chris) Henninger, Travis Henninger, and Chance (Kathy )Henninger.

Debra had 10 grandchildren ShyAnna and Destine Henninger, Hehr and Drury Haught, Raven Henninger, Jason, Tyler and Makenzie Hudson, and Scarlett and Zeke Henninger. She had 1 great granddaughter who was simply her angel Aspen Henninger-Roberts, and her god-son Austin Gilmore. She had 2 sisters and 5 brothers; Lane (Deanna) Drury; Day Drury, Terry (Beth) Dawson, Mark (Laurie) Erwin, Edward Drury, Shana (Patrick) Strollsteimer, and Angelia Gilmore Velazquez. Sister in law Janice (Gary) Natotschi and brother in law Gerold Henninger.

Her love was her dog, Snookie and her pig Abigail.

Debra was a proud business owner of Hog Heaven Ceramics were her and her mother made calendar pigs, coffee cups and other ceramics that were shipped all over the USA. She was involved in LaVeta Rotary Club, LaVeta Museum, LaVeta Masion’s and the Denver Broncos Club. She loved making cakes, reading, high tea, her Pigs and Denver Broncos!

She is now at peace within her Hog Heaven.

A Celebration of Debra's life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1pm at Faith Baptist Church, 169 S 30 1/2 Lane ( at the corner of Barnett Road), Pueblo CO 81006.
