Donna Bush

Donna Kay Bush, age 71, passed away at her home in Lakewood, CO on March 9th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Born December 15, 1949 in McCook, NE, she lived her childhood years in McCook until she moved to Trenton, NE and eventually settled in Lakewood, CO. Throughout her life she worked as a carhop, helped run a hardware store and did tax preparation before beginning her career with the Department of Revenue of the State of Colorado where she worked until her retirement.

Donna enjoyed morning walks and working in her yard. She participated in charitable walks and enjoyed attending the theater. Donna loved to attend her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities and host family dinners.

Donna is survived by her two daughters, Cheri Seupaul (Greg) of Lakewood, CO and Cynthia “Cindi” Wika (Mike) of Thornton, CO as well as her four grandchildren Benjamin, Arianna, Brandon and Avery. She is also survived by her three siblings Dennis (Vickie), Duane (Jan) and Dorene, as well as Donna’s ex-husband Jim (Joan). Donna also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her as well.

Viewing for immediate family is on March 15, 2021 at Horan & McConaty in Lakewood, CO, with cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer for family and friends with details to be announced.
