Eva Flores Garcia passed away peacefully in her home on June 21, 2022 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 9, 1964 in Denver, CO and raised by her late father Richard Flores along with her older sister Therese Flores Hernandez and younger brother the late Richard Flores.
She will be remembered as a dedicated mother who raised three sons, Jerry (J.P.) (Shena), Derrick (Niki), and Devin with the help of their father Gerald (Jerry) Garcia. She was also a loving grammy to eight granddaughters Brooklyn, Elyjah, Adalyn "Addy", Anelena "Nena", Aubree, Justynne "Teeny", Priscilla, and Cabrini.
As a custodian for Denver Public Schools for 27 years, she was as well-known for her long, black hair as she was for being a hard-working and strong woman who always spoke her mind. She enjoyed country music and loved nothing more than spending as much time as possible with her granddaughters. A beautiful woman inside and out, she will be greatly missed and her impact on her family and the community will not be forgotten.
