Gary Martinez

Gary Theodore Martinez born July 24, 1957 entered heaven on July 20, 2020.  His father, Theodore Martinez, and brother, Gerald Martinez, preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years Annette, mother Patricia Martinez, sons David and Chris, daughter-in-laws, Brooke and Brittany, grandchildren Kennedy, Jackson, McKinna, Brayden, and Hailey.  He is also survived by siblings, Michael, Karen, Charles, and Jody; special godchildren Andrea, Arcadia, Candace, and Isaac; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was a hard working printing pressman his entire career.  He was passionate about his love for the CU Buffs and the Denver Broncos, but was most proud of his family and shared his love through laughter and time spent together. He was a proud Papo to his precious grandchildren.

Gary wore his heart on his sleeve and loved everyone as his own.  He was everyone’s favorite uncle, and always had joy in giving his many nieces and nephews a hard time.  Gary’s love had no end, and he truly cherished every moment with his family and friends.

Gary had a strong belief in his faith and was overjoyed to be baptized in his church in 2019, so we know he has entered Heaven.  He will be missed by many, and his memory will live on forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. Guests are required to wear masks.
