Jacqueline "Jackie" Talbott

Jacqueline Jean (Nee’ Harlan) Talbott of Denver passed on October 18, 2020 at 80 years old.

Jackie was born on January 28, 1940 to Beatrice and Jack Harlan in Butte, Montana. Jackie spent her high school years in Grand Junction Colorado graduating in 1958. She attended college at Colorado State University and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and active alum. Jackie earned a BS degree in Communications from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Jackie married her high school sweetheart, Chris Talbott, in Juneau, Alaska in 1960.

Jackie was a successful businesswoman in Colorado Springs owning and operating Career Personnel. She taught Dale Carnegie courses and was an active member of the Rotary Club. Jackie was also an officer in the Colorado Springs JC Wives. Her love for family was unwavering and her service to the community impacted all whom she touched.

Jackie is survived by her partner, Frank Nations, also a former Grand Junction high school classmate; her four children, Kevin Talbott, Shawn Talbott and wife Stephanie of Farmville, NC, Heather Talbott and Ashlee Talbott; her grandchildren, Jason Talbott, Kristine Dennis, Rachael Talbott, Brittney Talbott, Morgan Talbott, Katie Talbott, Trey Talbott, Jalen (JT) Talbott and Ty Talbott; and her greatgrandchildren, Emma Dennis, Conner Dennis, Avalon Erskine, Marleigh Talbott, Mathew Marositz and Trey Talbott Jr.; her sister, Barbara Woodward of Scottsbluff, NB and brother Jim Harlan and wife, Shirley Carter Harlan of Fort Worth, TX. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Chris, a brother Robert Courtland Harlan and her parents, Jack and Beatrice Harlan.
