James “Jim” Meckley, 75, resident of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on July 17, 2020. Jim was a member of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was discharged in November of 1967. After he was discharged he worked for American Greetings Corporation.
Jim was a car enthusiast and loved working on them. Jim loved to golf, collect coins and country music. Jim is preceded in death by his son, Jody James Meckley; siblings, Donald Meckley and Barbara Kravice, and his father, Maurice Meckley. Jim is survived by his wife Connie of 52 years, his mother, Pearl Aotolos of Saltsburg, PA.; sisters, Lena Ferrero of Greensburg. PA. and Linda McMahon of Apollo, PA., and many nieces and nephews.
Jim will be laid to rest with his late son Jody J. Meckley at Fort Logan National Cemetery on July 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
