James "Jim" Chambers Iii

James “Jim” Harvey Chambers III, 66, of Aurora Colorado passed away on October 25, 2021. He was born to James Harvey Chambers II and Nancy Jane Chambers on August 8, 1955, in Denver, Colorado. Jim grew up in Aurora, CO on the family farm.

Following his graduation from Hinkley High School in 1973, Jim attended and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Western State University. In the following years, he earned his Master’s Degree in Life.

Jim was a gardener, a fisherman, a traveler, a gambler. He lived one day at a time: loving his family. Asked how to describe Jim, his family summarized: “Games of Chance, Assistance Guaranteed for All, A Mind with Soulful Purpose.”

Jim is survived by his wife Mary Chambers; children, Jeremiah Chambers, Kyla Chambers (Nick Jesteadt). He was preceded in death by his parents James Harvey Chambers II, Nancy Jane Chambers, and his brother Donald “Donnie” Peter Chambers.

Please join the family for a memorial service on Wednesday, November 3rd at 2:30pm at the Horan & McConaty Chapel located at 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora 80014.

Following the service, a reception will be held at Del Friscos Steakhouse from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
