Jeff Darnell

Jeffrey “Jeff” Dean Darnell, 47, of Denver Colorado, passed away on December 10th, 2020 at his home in Englewood, Colorado.

Jeff was born in Denver, Colorado at St. Luke’s on October 13th, 1973 to Michele Chaney and Richard Darnell.

Jeff grew up in Denver and attended Horizon Highschool.

Jeff’s first job was at Lakeside, and he dedicated most of his life as a mechanic. Jeff was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on cars up until his health got worse.

Jeff had a special bond with his cousins Tracy Armstrong and Paul (Willie) Fauver. They were never far from his side and always had his back while running around Colorado. He called them his brother and sister despite them all being cousins.

Jeff married Jennifer Craven in 2005, they spent 23 years together. Although they were not together at the time of his passing they maintained a friendship and a strong love for each other and one another’s well-being. He was very happy to have continued a strong bond.

Jeff’s has three children from a previous marriage and relationships. His children were Jeff’s most cherished gifts. In 1993 Jeff’s first daughter Hannah was born, his daughter Kylie was born in 1999, and in 2001 Jeff’s only son Wyatt was born.

Jeff was one of the biggest Denver Broncos fans. He enjoyed spending time fishing and camping. He loved listening to music and could spend hours doing so. When he was younger he enjoyed racing cars and working on them. He was a fan of Harley Davidson and classic cars. Above anything Jeff loved spending time with the ones he loved.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his mother, Michele on April 29th, 2012; his brother Johnny on November 22, 1986; also many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeff is survived by his three children Hannah Elizabeth Darnell of Boyd, Texas; Kylie Nicole Darnell of Centralia, Kansas; and Wyatt Dean Darnell of Surprise, Arizona. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, Ryver Goble, Levi Cox, and Kaydenn Cox. Additionally, he is survived by his father Rick Darnell. Jeff is also survived by countless nieces and nephews and 5 half siblings.
