Jeff Quinn, age 59, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family, on September 5th, 2022. He was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) nearly two years ago, although his disease ultimately took his life he fought hard with a smile on his face the whole time. The amazing doctors and staff at PSL gave him the tools to face his diagnosis head on with unwavering strength and determination.
Jeff was born to parents Vera Lee and Earl Quinn in Natchez, Mississippi on November 3, 1962. He is survived by his children; Dylan Quinn and Katie Quinn and their mother Cheryl Teasdale, along with his siblings; Terry Quinn, Tim Quinn, and Denise Fortenberry. He is predeceased by his mother Vera Lee and father Earl Quinn.
While Jeff grew up in Mississippi and never missed a chance to visit his family in the south, he always considered Colorado to be his true home. His children Dylan and Katie were his pride and joy; he loved them endlessly. Jeff was also an avid and beloved member of the AA community in both Colorado and California. Even in his final days he made sure to keep that part of himself going strong. He proudly celebrated his 21st sober birthday in August of 2022.
Jeff was passionate about life, health and helping others. If he will be remembered for anything it will certainly be his selflessness and compassion for everyone around him along with his deep love for his children.
