Joe Strange

Joe Strange, 51, of Denver, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home. Joe was born on August 19, 1965 in Aurora, CO, the son of the Leonard E. and Barbara A. (Phillips) Strange. Joe's career was in manufacturing as a Welding Engineer and heavy equipment mechanics. He loved Colorado sunsets, to ride his Harley Davidson, was passionate about music, and had a ""green thumb"", evident by his beautiful green lawn. He had a big heart for those he loved and held dear to him, he had the BEST laugh ever. He was proud of his country and family roots and showed it by supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. In addition to his wife Heather; Joe is survived by loving extended family near and far. He is predeceased by Gene (Father), Barb (Mom), Nick (Brother), and Daisy his beloved four legged baby girl who passed away in June. A Memorial Service to honor Joe will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. A reception at Horan & McConaty HeartLight Center will follow the service. Memorial donations can be made in Joe's name at Wounded Warrior Project/Donate.
