John D’Angelo, 78 of Massachusetts passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 27, 2021. He was born on March 20, 1942 to Anthony D’Angelo and Gertrude Helen Miller.
Following high school, John graduated with a master’s degree in computer science. John excelled in his career and was recognized for his outstanding work as a Chief of Computer Testing and Procedures working for the United States government. John also proudly served his country for 27 years in the United States Air Force and he retired as Senior Master Sergeant.
John enjoyed singing and recording music, he was known to have had a voice similar to Elvis Presley and was very inspired by Frank Sinatra. Don’t be fooled, although John had a wonderful voice he was also a black belt in karate.
John expanded his music hobby into video editing where he took on the role of recording family events. John also enjoyed watching Western TV Shows/ Movies and was a huge sports fanatic. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
John is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather: Ronald Neilson, and brother: David D’Angelo. He is survived by his wife Ampai Imnoi, two children: Anthony D’Angelo, Chris D’Angelo, step-daughters Ratree Imnoi, Took Somsi and step-son Somporn, grandchildren: Alexandra, Joseph , and Shyenne, sister in law: Alicia D’Angelo, two nieces: Elizabeth Marie and Nicole Maureen, one nephew: Anthony David and stepsister: Nancy Neilson Connor.
In honor of John, a visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 at 900AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (11150 East Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014), followed by funeral service at 10AM. A private burial will be held for John’s immediate family.
