Karen Pugh

Karen S. Pugh of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on August 2, 2021, just shy of her 80th birthday.  She was born on August 8, 1941 to Harold Lane and Catherine Lane, nee Welch in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Karen was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as sister, aunt and friend.  Karen always had a heart for stray animals and kids who needed some extra love and laughs.  Her door was always open to anyone who needed a soft place to land.

Karen is survived by her mother Catherine “Kit” Barsick, her five children, Ronald, Barry, Paula, Gillian and Kristin.  She is also survived by her sister Anita, her brother Mark Alan, her ½ brothers, Dave and Jim. Most of all she is survived by the loves of her life, her 11 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids.  Karen was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Pugh, her dad Mark George Barsick, her birth father Harold Lane, and her ½ brother Kenny Lane.

We all feel the enormous loss of her presence in our lives, and she will be missed dearly.
