Laurie Davis

On August 8th, 2022 we lost a beloved teacher, friend, mentor and family member. Laurie Y. Davis age 68, passed away peacefully at her home after a 5 1/2 yr.battle with cancer. Laurie graduated from Northglenn High School in 1972. During this time she was an accomplished gymnast, musician, and performer for the United Service Organization (U.S.O.).  Lauries passion for dancing turned into a 40 year career of owning her own Dance studio, choreographing, judging competitions and teaching students all throughout the state. Laurie is survived by her loving dance community, her daughter Heather Arellano, son Dustin Davis, son-in-law Charles Arellano, daughter-in-law Renee Davis, and  grandchildren Jacob and Savannah Arellano. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and LaVonne Busch. Laurie's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her. She was a positive educator who believed anything was possible, if you believed in yourself. A "Celebration of Life" in Lauries honor will be on Friday, September 9th at 10:00am. Flatirons Community Church -Lafayette Campus with a reception to follow.
