Lois Vansciver

Lois M. VanSciver, 94, passed away July 14th at Cadence Assisted Living Facility from natural causes. Her husband of 73 years preceded her in death in 2018.

Lois was born in Camden, New Jersey on November 3, 1926. Due to her husband being in the service, she has lived in Pennsauken, NJ; Lakehurst Naval Station, NJ;  Toms River, NJ;  Prestwick, Scotland; Dover AFB, Del.;  Lowry AFB, Co.; Langley AFB, Va. and Bolling AFB, Washington DC.

She has a brother, Russ Shivers, residing in New Jersey. She had a sister, Joyce Hill, who preceded her in death.

She has 6 children. Bonnie Pereira and Donna Frank (Will) residing in Colorado, Lynn Bouck (Dennis) residing in New York, Sandy Sansing (Ray) residing in Oregon, Bob VanSciver (Deb) residing in Virginia and Sharon Ortiz residing in Texas. She has 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Robert and Lois were members of the Holiday Ramblers camping club and enjoyed camping and traveling.

Memorial service will be August 21st, 2021 at Smoky Hill Baptist Church, 19315 E. Smoky Hill Rd. She will be interred along side Robert at Ft. Logan on the 22nd.
