Lola Kerlin

October 5, 1937 — July 16, 2020

Lola Kerlin was born on October 5, 1937 at Horseshoe Lake in Noble County Indiana. She died on July 16, 2020 at Clermont Park in Denver, Colorado after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.

She was the oldest daughter of Emil and Helen Hickman (Paulus).

Lola was the Valedictorian of her high school class and then became the first person in her family to go to college.

She completed her Bachelor's, Master's and PhD at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Lola worked for Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton Florida for 25 years as the Director of Testing. She loved traveling, reading, and playing golf.

Lola had one son, Christopher Martin Kerlin of Denver, Colorado and is survived by her three younger sisters, Mary Lou, Carolyn Sue and Lois June.

No services are scheduled at this time.

A celebration of Lola's life will be held at a later date.
