Lorraine Veith

Lorraine Catherine Veith, age 58, unexpectedly passed away in her home on September 9, 2021. She lived the first 16 years of her life in Southeast Denver where she met her dearest friend, Carin Davis. Her and her family moved to Bailey, Colorado in 1979 where she graduated from Platte Canyon High School.

Lorraine loved her community, spending time fishing, camping around the Rocky Mountains, cooking for everyone and making everyone laugh when they needed it. She had a huge heart and could be friends with anyone. She will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Kearns (Rogers), MaCayla Straily and Caitlin Straily, her grandchildren Dorian, Raelyn, Maddison and Paisley, her sisters Pauline Goodwin (Veith), Susan Higgins (Veith) and her brothers Danny Veith and Kevin Veith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Veith, Margaret Veith (Neary), her grandson Trevor and many close family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Centennial, Colorado on Friday, September 24th  at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow to celebrate her life. Her service and reception will be at 5303 E County Line Rd Centennial, CO 80122.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s honor can be made to Denver Police Officers Foundation.
