Miguel "Tate" Travis

Miguel “Tate” R. Travis, age 76, died unexpectedly in his home in Westminster, CO on Friday, September 10, 2021.  Tate was retired but had worked doing commercial construction.  Tate is survived by his wife of 41 years Nancy Travis, and his son Dustin Travis and partner Dan Pinkston, daughter Nicole Perez, husband Erik Perez and grandchildren Gabriel and Jake. Tate also has a daughter from his previous marriage Cathy Rodriguez.

Tate is also survived by four sisters, Tess, Rita, Rosanne and Candy, his aunt Jackie along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins

Tate was preceded in death by both his parents Ralph and Marguerite Travis.

Funeral services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Thornton CO on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

There will be a potluck reception after the service at Nicole’s house.  Please ask for directions if necessary.

Tate requested to be cremated so his wishes will be followed.
