Natasha Nicole Pittman was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. She was born February 26, 1981 in Pensacola, Florida. She passed away suddenly on August 27th, 2021 in Aurora, Colorado surrounded by her family who loved her dearly and who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Natasha followed in her mother’s footsteps in the hospitality industry and was most recently employed at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center as the Assistant Controller where she worked for 15 years. Through hard work and perseverance, Natasha earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and her MBA while continuing to work fulltime.
Natasha was an avid photographer and frequently took photos of flowers, sunsets, and graffiti art during long walks as well as her culinary delights in the kitchen. She loved animals, music, movies, and her many close friends. She loved going to concerts, photography and traveling the country. Most of all, she loved her family, in particular her sister, Lauren, who she unabashedly referred to as her favorite person in the world. They were more than sisters, they were friends. They frequently traveled the country together via road trips or airplanes, attended concerts, theater and games together, hung out on the weekend with mutual friends and even worked at the same hotel for five years.
When you think of Natasha, celebrate the good times, laughs, and joy you were lucky enough to have shared with her. Remember her beautiful spirit, kind soul and hardy laugh. Life is fragile and short, hold dear the people you love and make great memories with them while you can. Remember that nobody gets to choose how they die, but everyone gets to choose how they live.
She is survived by her mother, Susan Pittman Goodwin, her father, Jack Pittman Jr., her sister, Lauren Pittman, grandmother, Marge Missel and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee Missel, Jack Pittman Sr. and Dorothy Pittman, her uncle, Tim Missel and cousins Laura Missel and Jeff Corey.
A celebration of life service for Natasha will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 1pm at Horan & McConaty located at 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80015.
If you would like to make a donation in memory of Natasha, she supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and planned to participate once again in the upcoming fundraising walk/run. See link below.
