Philip Lee Albright, 82, of Brighton passed away on May 11, 2021 at Sunrise Senior Living of Westminster. Born on July 9, 1938 in Bloomfield, Iowa he was the son of William Dewey and Alma Maria (Boyd) Albright.
He received his education in Bloomfield Iowa.
Philip was drafted into the US Army in September of 1961 and spent much of his service time in Regensburg Germany while serving at the Berlin Wall.
He returned to the States after his discharge and resided in Longmont Colorado. He married Wilma Rowlan in June of 1964. They were married for 11 years.
Philip was retired after many years of work as a Warehouse Logistics Manager.
Philip was a member of The American Legion Post 0078 Reed Whisler Bloomfield IA
Philip enjoyed time spent with friends and family while bowling, playing cards, shooting pool and time up at Carter Lake.
He will be remembered for his love and dedication for his family, his quirky sense of humor and his love for watching the Broncos and Rockies play ball.
Philip is survived by his sister Ann Pepmeyer, 4 children: Grizzly Kristin, Reta Albright, Brian Albright and his wife, Becky, Amber Friesen and her husband Greg. 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, three nieces, one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Philip was proceeded in death by his parents, 2 sons and 1 great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 3:00pm at Foothills Garden of Memory Cemetery, 14241 N. 107th St. Longmont, Colorado 80504.
Memorial donations may be made in Philip’s name to The American Kidney Foundation.
