Richard Crum Sr.

Richard Calvin Crum Sr., 99 years of age, passed away on September 20, 2022. Husband to the late Viola (DiPace) Crum, Father of the late Kathy Crum Grier (Paul Grier Jr), the late Richard C. Crum Jr (Debra J) and surviving Debra R. Crum. Grandfather of Paul Grier III (Missy), Angela Grier, Marci (Crum) Perino (Sheldon), Marla Crum (Nicke Nickelson), Margo(Crum) Pergola (JoJo). Great grandfather of Paul IV and Talia Grier, Gilliana, Giovani and Gienaveve Perino, Joseph, Vincent, and Theresa Pergola. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Effie (Riley) Crum, father Marion Garfield Crum, brothers Roy (Dorothy), Ray, Riley (Jean), Ralph (Ruth) and sister Evelyn Vasquez (Joe). Uncle of Carol Parriott, Sandy Toscano, Gary Malara, Barbara Vasquez, Carol O’Bryan, Mike O’Bryan and Gene Brown. Great Uncle to Christopher Fabrizio and Keagan Brown. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandpa Uncle and friend. God, his family and his country was the most important things in his life. He taught us to do the best that we can do and to be a good Christian throughout our life. He will forever be loved & missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) at 10217 Quivas St, Thornton, CO 80260.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, September 29, 6pm at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant St, Thornton CO.

Funeral Mass Friday, September 30th 11am at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo St Denver, CO with entombment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, the Ascension Mausoleum at 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheatridge, CO., where my parents will be re-united for eternity.
