The Life of Rose Marie Dietrich
Rose Dietrich of Aurora, Colorado passed away suddenly at the age of 78 on December 6, 2021.
Rose grew up in South Dakota where life was simple, full of fun and adventure. She attended High School in Yale, South Dakota. Rose love spending time with her family, knitting, playing bingo and sports. Life changed significantly for Rose and Darrel as result of losing everything they had built together in the Rapid City flood of 1972. This was life changing for them and their children.
Since they were deeply involved in the church. Rose has served as Sunday school teacher, nursery, and secretarial assistance. Additionally, she was involved with a group knitting prayer shall, funeral committee and Small Group. She asked the Lord into her heart in 1959.
She worked for Storm Products and Storage Technology in Broomfield and K-Mart at the various locations that Darrel's work took them to.
She is preceded in death by her dad John E. Hofer and mom Susie (Wipf) Hofer. Three Sisters Ruth (Manny) Wollman, Vivian (George) Kuhn, Anna (John) Bartel. Two brothers Eli (Betty) Hofer, and Melroy (Liz) Hofer
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Darrel Dietrich and her children LaVelle (Russell) Barcus, Dean (April) Dietrich and Darian (Cindy) Dietrich, six grandsons Russell Jr (Amanda), Brandon, Cory, Chase (Jenni), Tyler, Jacob, 3 granddaughter Sarai, Amber, Peyton and three great grandchildren Tristan, Joshua and Ellieanna.
Services will be held on December 16, 2021 at 11:00AM at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 E. Belleview Avenue Englewood, Colorado 80111. Relatives and friends are welcome.
