Ryan Nowlan

Ryan “Ryno” Nowlan, 17, a student at Eaglecrest Highschool, tragically passed away in a car accident on October 30, 2022.

Born April 6, 2005 in San Diego, CA , he was raised in Denver, CO where he played Varsity Football, ran track for his high school team, and loved to play pickup basketball with his amazing friends.

Ryan loved to spend his time hanging out with his friends, watching movies, slinging pizzas at his job, causing trouble with his friends, and making people smile and laugh with his humorous and outgoing personality. Very rarely would you ever see him without his big infectious smile.  He was incredibly loyal, full of life, kindhearted and generous to his family, friends, teachers, teammates, coaches and to everyone he encountered.  He always gave a hundred percent in everything he did and was considered the “Hype Man” by many of teammates and coaches.

Ryan is survived by his Mother, Shandi Strumpf, Father, Joshua Nowlan, Step Mom, Heather Martindill-Nowlan, big brother Eric Strumpf, and his loving extended family.

Services will be held on November 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Services:  11150 E Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.  Immediately followed by a Celebration of Life service at The Lake House at Cherry Creek:  4800 S. Dayton St., Greenwood Village, CO 80111 (Inside Cherry Creek State Park).
