Sally Jane Johnson, age 89, passed away on January 15, 2021.

She was born in 1931 In Denver, Colorado to Charles E. Smith and Alice Teresa Floyd. She had five siblings, Bob, Mary Fran, Kathleen, Charles and Alice and attended Cathedral High School. Sally married Alfred Johnson.

Sally owned Vollmers Bakery and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, mountains and cooking. She also volunteered at the Catholic Food Bank.

She is survived by her children Allison Johnson, Greg (Laura) Johnson, Tom (Stacey) Johnson and her grandchildren Jessica, Greg Jr., Sara, Stephanie, Heather, Matthew, and Chrissy. Sally was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Johnson and her son Randy Johnson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 22 at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. Entombment will follow at 11:30 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
