Sharon Karnes

Sharon K. Karnes, 78, of Lakewood, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska September 12, 1942 to Jerry and Berta Dickinson. Sharon received her Bachelors degree from Metropolitan State University in Denver in 1978 focusing on accounting. She received many scholastic awards. After graduation she taught business courses at Arapahoe Community College and Barnes Business College. Sharon then went on becoming Administrative Assistant at many corporations in the Denver area. She married Edward W. Karnes September 12, 1966. They were volunteers on the ski patrols at Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin for many years. Sharon also enjoyed SCUBA diving and travel. They were able to make trips to every continent. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward and numerous nieces and nephews.
