Shawna Ann Feist, 44, passed away on August 19, 2020. Born on December 6, 1975 in Denver, Colorado to William Festing, III and Alaine Satriano. She leaves behind Jerome Feist (divorced after 20 years, now re-married to Justina), her two children, Faith (Kyle Jorgenson) and Andrew, and her older sister Heather (Donn Williamson).
Shawna was known for having many different talents but her love for animals was displayed in the precious way she cared for them as a pet sitter and owner of Paula’s Pet Pampering. Her favorite color was purple but never let that interfere with the fact that she was a true Denver Broncos’ fan and proudly showed her support by regularly wearing her Broncos’ gear. She was funny and with very little effort, could have a whole room of people laughing with her quick-witted remarks. Many will also recall her breaking the awkward silence in the room with her favorite phrase, “How about those Broncos?” which always got a laugh. Shawna cared deeply about the special people in her life but most of all for the two incredible children that were the pride and joy of her life.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Haven (10), Jessie (9) and Cole (2 months); three nephews, Adam, Aronn (Holly), and Nick; three nieces, Raquel (Ryan), Dezirae and Alli, a great-niece Aria and great-nephew Ashton.
She is preceded in death by her younger sister, Paula Shaw, grandparents, Albert and Ellen Satriano and Helen Festing.
Shawna was a daughter, grand-daughter, sister, mother, grand-mother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. All of those that knew Shawna are saddened by this loss and will miss her deeply.
