Sue Radke

Sue Radke, age 67, lost her courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Sue was born on October 24, 1951 in Porterville, CA to Lonnie and Edith Swearingen. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and then moved to southern California. She met Jon Radke and they were married September 27, 1975. They had two children, Jon and Maranda. The family then moved to Colorado in 1983. Sue held various positions in the schools through the years that allowed her to keep an eye on her kids. After the death of her husband, she began a successful career in real estate that she thoroughly enjoyed until the time of her death. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering at Parker Adventist Hospital and at SECOR in Parker, CO. Her greatest joy was her family, particularly her four grandchildren. She could usually be found on the sidelines of a sporting event letting the referees and umpires know what she thought of their officiating. She also enjoyed cooking and hosting Sunday dinners for her family.

Sue is survived by her children: Jon (Lisa) Radke and Maranda (Rob) Hasche and grandchildren Blake and Madison Radke and Gavin and Griffin Hasche all of Parker, Colorado and her sister Cheryl Swearingen of Conway, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Radke.

Services will be held Saturday August 10, 2019 at 9:00am at The Colorado Room located in the Solomon Center 16965 Pine Lane Parker, CO 80134. Reception immediately following the ceremony.
