Terin Allen Hancock was born on December 7, 1988, in Denver, Colorado to Tara Griffin and Allen Hancock.
Along with his sister Whitney, Terin spent his childhood watching cartoons, enjoying the outdoors, hanging with friends, and playing sports and video games.
Into adulthood, his interests included drawing, painting, tattoo artistry, music, sports, 90s cartoons, anime (especially Dragon Ball Z), video games and snowboarding. He particularly displayed a talent for visual arts, and a deep affinity for owls.
While in high school, Terin met his long-time love, Marisa. Together, they moved to Arizona to attend Glendale Community College before returning to Denver several years later.
Professionally, Terin worked at Denver International Airport and the Westin Hotel. He went on to become a truck driver, delivering goods and services across the Front Range. Most recently, he spent his days and nights delivering oxygen tanks and supplies for a healthcare services company.
Despite the many hats he wore, Terin’s true passion was art. He spent his spare time drawing and painting. His keen eye for detail and impressive use of color made all his pieces a reflection of himself and his personality.
Terin passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 25, 2022, at 33 years old. He joins some of his friends who also left this world too young. He also joins his beloved Grandma Mary, with whom he can watch over his family and friends from Heaven.
Having touched so many hearts, his kindness, caring, loving and hilarious sense of humor will forever be a part of the legacy he leaves behind.
