Toan Be

Mr. Toan Be was born on June 15^th, 1923. God called him home to be united with Mrs. Hoan Nguyen, his beloved wife and our beloved dear mother, in the night of February 2^nd, 2020 in Denver, Colorado. He left behind five children, five children in-law, ten grand-children, and four great grand-children.

He was a captain in the Republic of Vietnamese army in the late 50's and early 60's. In 1975, The Fall of Saigon sent him to the Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife and five children, three boys and two girls, to start a new life as an accountant at Lear Siegler Corporation in Grand Rapids, Michigan and pursue freedom and happiness in a new land and the new country where we called home in the last forty-five years.

Our Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather was known for his courage, determination, integrity, kindness and generosity toward others. His love in creating solutions, learning and exploring new eras, photography, poetry, and traveling the world are instilled in many of his children, children in-law, and grand-children.

He passed away from this earthly life, but he is still apart from each one of us in a deepest sense of touch. He is lovingly remembered by all the children, children in-law, grand-children, and great grand-children. We are celebrating his eternal life with our beloved mother by the presence of our heavenly Father.

He is survived by his children, Son, Anh Be (Michigan); Daughter ,Thuy Nugent (California); Son, Viet Be (California); Daughter Tu Be (Colorado); Son, Tuan Be (Michigan).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 3pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St. Thornton Colorado.

Cremation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 8:30am at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver, Colorado.

Relatives and Friends are welcome at both events.
