Zion Torres

Our beloved Zion was born to Matthew Lawrence Torres and Grace Crystal Ema Tezzo Torres at UC Health Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado. He passed away 19 hours after his birth in his father’s arms. He had tan skin and curly brown hair. He had his father’s eyes and his mother’s nose. In utero, he was so active and energetic. His parents nicknamed him their kicky baby because of the time he spent kicking his mother and twin sister. They got to see him kick one final time before he passed away. He is survived by his parents, Matthew & Grace, his sister, Liana, grandparents, Disengomoka & Liliane Tezzo, David & Rima Torres, and Richard & Regina Martinez, 3 great grandmothers, 10 aunts and uncles, and 5 cousins, as well as a large extended family. His grandmother, Lorraine Tezzo, passed away before his birth. There will be a memorial service in his honor via live stream Friday, August 27 at 1pm MT.

Zion will be forever loved and never forgotten. His life was short, but he deeply impacted all those who loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
