A. James ""Jim"" Petersen

A. James Petersen, 70, of Centennial passed away on October 3, 2018 at his home. Jim was born on October 28, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Julius and Drucilla (Perkins) Petersen.

After serving in Vietnam, he worked as a computer programmer for United Airlines, where he met and married Mary Jo Petersen (Talbot).

Jim enjoyed fishing, hiking, photography, reading and hanging out with his dog, Daisy.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Petersen and Andrea Petersen, his sister Norita ‘Kay' Sheehan and brother Dennis Petersen, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service for Jim will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road Centennial, CO 80122.
