A. Thomas Tenenbaum, age 71, died in Parker, Colo., on December 31, 2022. He went by Tom.

Born in New York on Nov. 10, 1951, Tom grew up in Scarsdale, N.Y., and graduated from Edgemont High School in 1969. He graduated from Fordham Law School in 1976 and worked as a prosecutor for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. In 1980 he moved to Denver, Colo., primarily for the skiing, and worked as a highly esteemed attorney and litigator in the practice of securities law. He was a brilliant photographer, masterful skier, clever philosopher, hilarious joke-teller, zealous Harley rider, and loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate Brenda Tenenbaum in Parker, Colo., his son Alex Tenenbaum in Bozeman, Mont., his child Charlie Tenenbaum in Portland,  Ore., his mother Rita Tenenbaum in White Plains, N.Y., his brother Marty Tenenbaum in Hartsdale, N.Y., and his sister Beth Jassin in Madison, N.J.

Tom was preceded in death by his father Charles Tenenbaum and his brother Bruce Tenenbaum.

A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held 11a-2p on Saturday, January 21, 2023. All Tom’s relatives and friends are welcome to attend. The Celebration will be held at:
