Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Aaron Francisco Gallegos, 45, of Parker, CO passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife Renee Ford Gallegos of Parker, CO; son James McClure and wife Abby of Parker, CO; daughter Cady McClure of Parker, CO; daughter Mackenzie McClure of Parker, CO; granddaughter Andrea Grace McClure; grandson Owen Alexander Francis Devlin; parents Modesto and Micaela Gallegos of Espanola, NM; brother Mario Gallegos and wife Margaret along with their children Nicolas and Analisa of Corpus Christi, TX; brother Reuben Gallegos and wife Tina Herrera along with their children Giorgia and Margo of Half Moon Bay, CA; brother Leon Gallegos and wife Gabriela along with their children Nadia, Ema and Leon Franco of Laredo, TX; sister Monica Valdez and husband Mario along with their children Marianna, Marisol, Mario Adán and Marizia of Rio Rancho, NM; father-in-law Richard Ford and wife Carolyn of Klamath Falls, OR; mother-in-law Lynn Charlton of Hobbs, NM; all his Weasel Brothers and his dogs. Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Modesto and Adela Gallegos; maternal grandparents Lorenzo and Manuela Bazan; his Granny Lillian Hogarth; his niece Mila Maria Valdez and many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Aaron touched all those that he met with his infectious smile, his sense of humor, his faith, his words of wisdom and his positive outlook on life. He generously gave of himself to others and was the kind of friend that everyone hopes to have. He loved his family and friends, he loved his animals, he loved to laugh and lastly, he loved to ride. Words cannot capture how greatly he will be missed. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, July 31 at 5 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1 at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM with interment immediately to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz, NM. A reception celebrating Aaron's life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Reception Hall in Arroyo Seco, NM after the interment. In addition, a Memorial Service in honor of Aaron will be held on Saturday, August 2 at 1 pm at the Stagecoach Saloon in Franktown, CO.
