Adriana Margarita Lopez

Our mother, our sister, our friend, Adriana (Nani) Margarita Lopez passed away too soon on Sept. 26, 2019. Nani was born on April 27, 1961 in Denver Colorado to Virginia Gallegos and Eudoro Olivares. She graduated from Thornton High School in 1979 and then Metropolitan State University with an associate in business.

Family was the center of Nani's life. Nani's children were the apple of her eye, they had a special mother-child bond that her kids will always cherish and remember. Some of her favorite pastimes were testing out new recipes, rescuing cats and hiking.

Nani is survived by her daughter, Bianca (Lorenzo); her son, Stefan (Maisee); her siblings Vicky, Doro, Sandra, Martha, Oscar; her rescue cats Figaro, Niké, Stewy; and her beloved dog named ""Peanut"". Her family will remember Nani's contagious laugh, generous spirit and loving nature.

A Rosary will be held in Nani's honor at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2771 Zenobia St., Denver. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. the following day, Tuesday, Oct. 8 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with a reception after at Post 501, 4747 W Colfax Ave, Denver CO 80204.

In lieu of flowers, her family asking for donations to go to the no kill animal shelter called Maxfund, 720 W 10th Ave, Denver CO 80204 in her name, Adriana Lopez.
